How well do you know Fairfield, California? This Solano County community has more history and personality than you might expect!

Fairfield was founded in 1903 and was named by Robert H. Waterman, a prominent local landowner, after Fairfield, Iowa, his hometown. Today, Fairfield sits conveniently between San Francisco and Sacramento, making it an important part of the region.
