2023 City of Vacaville Flood Mitigation Efforts


Over the last several months, the Vacaville Public Works team has been working hard to mitigate and reduce the possibility of winter flooding.  In addition to the installation of new, larger flap gates within detention basins, the team maintains 26 miles of creek throughout town, removing obstructions to minimize the potential for localized flooding.
