Construction work began on the City's solar project last month. Located at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant, it is anticipated to offset the electrical load of the Plant's facilities. Approved by City Council in December 2020, the City is projected to save nearly $24 million on electricity costs over 20 years.
